Experience spanning 22 years in agricultural value chain, business development, public-private partnerships (PPPs), corporate affairs (government and industry associations), development sector  and business cycle (startup, turnaround, M&A prospecting, integration) in India and international markets, covering corporate strategy including market entry, sales and marketing, project management, and acquisitions and managing integrations. Gill is an innovative and performance-oriented agribusiness leader with proven success in managing relationships and fostering collaboration with various stakeholders to support strategy execution and has effectively led teams in dynamic business environments, managed and delivered on cross-functional initiatives at the local and global level. Built and managed effective teams to deliver business requirements.

He has held senior management positions at India operations of three renowned transnational corporations – Monsanto, Delta & Pine Land, and Cebeco, for over the last 12 years and now Managing Associate of the Agribusiness Associates Inc. based out of Davis, California, USA since April 2012.

Rajit Prashar

Rajit Parashar has 20 years of commercial and business development experience. His specialization skills are market intelligence, market entry strategy, white space & existing business development and operations turnaround. As a consultant, Rajit has prepared five-year strategy for Tate & Lyle for their South East Asia Region. Before becoming a consultant, Rajit worked in senior management positions at corporate headquarters of a US food ingredients multinational 'Corn Products International, Inc.' (Now known as 'Ingredion, Inc.). His assignments included leading acquisition from conception to integration in China, establishing office in India, turning around Kenya operation as resident manager in Nairobi and supervising finance and planning functions for 5 subsidiaries with total revenue of over $300Million in Asia & Africa division of Corn Products, Inc. Rajit was part of several key corporate initiatives during 2003-2008 that resulted in 100% share price increase.

Prior to his stint with Corn Products, Rajit had a rigorous grounding in international trading and scouting for business development opportunities with a Japanese Sogo-Shosha 'Marubeni'. Working with Marubeni, Rajit performed on all aspects of acquiring minority shares of an Indian seed company, consummated over 500 trading contracts and handled products such as iron ore, coal, synthetic rubber, agriculture commodities and various general merchandise items.

Rajit started his career with a two year sales and distribution experience with Onida in India. He is an MBA in strategy and finance from Booth School of Business at University of Chicago and Mathematics Honors Undergraduate degree from the University of Delhi.

Have a strong experience in dealing with regulators & getting buying from management. During his stint in Africa, he has gained hands on experience of microfinance especially in the rural areas. He worked as a Managing Director & CEO-Global Retail Financial Services, United Bank Of Africa Plc. , Nigeria; CEO (Retail & Private Banking) –The Bank of Kuwait &  Middle East ,Kuwait; Business Director- Centralized Lending & Business Development (CitiFinancial-UK & Republic of Ireland) and Chief Operating Officer(COO), CitiFinancial India .
